Il s&rsquo;agit du zoo de La Palmyre. Le mot zoo me fait fait fuir, me r\u00e9pugne. Mais l\u00e0, c&rsquo;est bien diff\u00e9rent. Le parc est \u00e9norme. Si je me souviens bien: 18 ha.\u00a0 Nous y avons pass\u00e9 plus de 4h et sans tra\u00eener. A mon avis, il faut pr\u00e9voir d&rsquo;y passer la journ\u00e9e pour bien tout regarder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e, nous sommes accueillis par de splendides oiseaux orangers: les flamants du Chili.<a href=\"https:\/\/martinemrichard.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_0906_v1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-7702\" alt=\"IMG_0906_v1\" src=\"https:\/\/martinemrichard.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_0906_v1-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/martinemrichard.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_0906_v1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/martinemrichard.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_0906_v1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/martinemrichard.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_0906_v1.jpg 1402w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De 110 \u00e0 130cm de haut, ils sont assez proches de leurs cousins les flamants roses.\u00a0 Dans la nature, ils sont r\u00e9partis de l&rsquo;\u00e9quateur et du P\u00e9rou jusqu&rsquo;en Argentine en passant par l&rsquo;Est du Br\u00e9sil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Une population vit \u00e9galement \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re de l&rsquo;Allemagne et des Pays Bas. L&rsquo;incubation dure entre 28 et 30 jours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les flamants se nourrissent de crustac\u00e9s, mollusques, plantes aquatiques , d&rsquo;algues. Leur gros bec si particulier est un filtre. Les flamants roses \u00e9taient \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sents\u00a0 , plus loin, au bord d&rsquo;un petit lac.
